Verified Wonderful days We had a wonderful trip with Shafic, our guide from Mooi Adventures Uganda. He was consistently friendly, kind, and respectful throughout our journey. One of the things we appreciated most was his punctuality—he always arrived on time and helped us stay on schedule, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable.We visited Jinja, Kampala, and Entebbe, and Shafic was always ready with helpful recommendations whenever we asked. Jamie was an outstanding guide, looking after her clients needs from A to Z, anticipating every need and fulfilling every wish. She was always a few steps ahead in her head planning the best options for the next adventure on the journey. Her large network in eco tourism meant that the best guides and experts took us to see exceptional and rare glimpses of Ugandan wildlife. Jamie is an excellent bird expert and it was so much fun spotting and identifying the 600+ birds of Uganda throughout the road trip. Jamie‘s nature is so warm and friendly and uncomplicated that within a very short time she became a friend who shared in the joys of seeing the wildlife, packed lunches and dinners so we maximised the experience of the day/evening/and night game drives, the ecstatic happiness when the big five gave a legendary show, relishing in the delights of roadside grilled meats and matoke, and making the driving time pass so quickly with singing, dancing, and Swahili language lessons. She truly is a gem and I highly recommend Jamie to any traveller who wants the real Ugandan experience. With your great knowledge of the country and the culture, you were able to take us to very special places. The advice was great right from the start, we had a super pleasant preparation before the trip and received a lot of information from them. Even during the trip, the agency was always available for questions, requests or additions. The guide and driver Herbert had a great deal of knowledge about the flora and fauna, was very open-minded and had a pleasant driving style, we had a lot of fun together and really enjoyed the time. We did many classic activities like gorilla trekking and safaris in the beautiful national parks, but also activities with the local community were included. This gave us an insight into the life of the locals. Our expectations of Uganda were far exceeded, the country has very different national parks from savannah to high mountains and an incredibly beautiful animal world. On our safari we were even able to see all of the Big 5 without really looking for them. We were able to experience unforgettable moments and can highly recommend this travel agency.
