Safari Highlights


Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Welcome to Uganda! Your guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Take time to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Jinja - Rafting at the Source of the Nile

Start your adventure with a rafting experience at the Nile’s source. Learn fascinating tales about the world's longest river before checking into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 3: Transfer to Sipi Falls

We will start our journey to Sipi Falls after an early breakfast. We will check into our lodging upon arrival, eat lunch, and then relax for the day.

Day 4: Explore Sipi Falls

After breakfast, we'll go to the community for our coffee experience tour, where we'll get to talk to the locals and participate in the brewing, processing, and tasting of coffee. This will definitely make your visit unforgettable. After the activity, we'll return to the hotel for lunch as we get ready to enjoy the breathtaking view of Uganda's most romantic waterfalls after a strenuous climb to the abseiling site, which is 100 meters below the surface. After a successful hike, we'll continue to the King's Rock Sunset View site for a picnic in the evening.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO KARAMOJA REGION (KARATUNGA)-COMMUNITY WALK

Following an early breakfast, we will travel to Karatunga, where we will check into our lodging, eat lunch, and then take a leisurely stroll through the community

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

After an early morning meal, we will go to Kidepo Valley National Park. 

This is one of Uganda's top birding routes, therefore we can't miss the opportunity to see many stunning species, such as the common ostrich.

DAY 7: EXPLORE KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Following an early breakfast, we will embark on our journey to the renowned "true African wilderness," which boasts an abundance of wildlife and stunning, breathtaking landscapes. With over 470 bird species and 75 different mammal species, this park offers the best opportunities to see Uganda's largest buffalo herds, the endangered cheetah, several antelopes, plain zebras, and more, return to the hotel for lunch and later enjoy an evening game drive before capping the day with one of Africa's most breathtaking sunsets after the activity.

 

DAY 8: CULTURAL EXPERIENCE (IK COMMUNITY)

We will leave for our community experience after an early breakfast with our packed lunch. Our goal is to visit the still-reserved iK community village in Mount Murongole and immerse ourselves in the ancient atmosphere by taking part in their daily activities, which include milking cows, dancing, and singing, visiting homesteads, and learning about their fascinating history and cultural beliefs. After that, we will return to our lodging for the night.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Following an early breakfast, we will travel to Murchison Falls, our next stop. Once there, we will check into the hotel, eat lunch, and then go on an evening game drive where we may be able to see lions, leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife.

DAY 10: EXPLORE MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Take a morning game drive on the park's northern bank, where you may see lions, buffalos, elephants, Rothschild's giraffes, leopards, and other wildlife. You may also spot hornbills, bee eaters, raptors, and other birds. Following the drive, we will eat lunch at Red Chillis before setting out for our afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the fall, where we may see Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, Elephants, and Buffalos, among other creatures, as well as the breathtaking views of the bottom of Murchison Falls. Following the boat ride, we will head back to the lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

 

DAY 11: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

 Following an early breakfast, we will travel to Kibale Forest National Park, known as the "Primate capital of the world." Check in at the lodging and have a day's relaxation; it's the greatest spot in Uganda to track chimpanzees and has a very robust population of other primates.

We'll eat lunch at Fort Portal before heading to the hotel for dinner, rest, and overnight. 

DAY 12: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND BIGODI SWAMP WALK EXPERIENCE

Proceed to the forest to track chimpanzees after breakfast. The likelihood of coming across other primates during this activity is great, including Olive Baboons, Vervet monkeys, and Black & White Colobus monkeys. After enjoying a taste of local cuisine, head to Bigodi Swamp in the evening, which is well-known for its nature hikes and bird watching excursions.

DAY 13: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH EVENING GAME-DRIVE

After breakfast, depart from the lodging and go to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we will check in, eat lunch, and enjoy a boat trip at Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. There are more hippos in the Kazinga canal than anywhere else in the world. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to witness buffaloes and Nile crocodiles. We will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay following the activities.

DAY 14: EXPLORE QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast, we'll go on a morning game drive inside the national park, where you can see the four renowned "big five"—lions, elephants, leopards, and buffaloes. To round off the morning, we'll take a crater drive for a beautiful view of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the before moving on to our next hotel for lunch and daytime relaxation.

 

DAY 15: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

We will travel early in the morning to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is well-known for housing half of the world's mountain gorilla population. Once there, check in and we will rest for the day as we get ready for the gorilla search hike.

DAY 16: GORILLA TREKKING AND BATWA EXPERIENCE

Drive to the park headquarters for a briefing after breakfast before starting the eagerly anticipated gorilla tracking. The trip's high point is this activity. Depending on the location of the previous camp, the availability of food, and the weather, the trip can take anywhere from one hour to many hours before coming across the powerful yet modest giants. However, the experience is so fulfilling that it makes the tiresome journey worthwhile. After the exhilarating moment, we head back to the hotel to unwind before our evening Batwa adventure, when they showcase their culture and way of life.

Go back to the hotel for dinner and spend the night there.

DAY 17: TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI – EVENING CANOE BOAT EXPERIENCE

Following breakfast, we will travel to Bunyonyi, which is renowned as the Switzerland of Uganda. Once there, we will check in, eat lunch, and then spend the evening on a paddle boat tour to see some of the islands and discover their traditions and history. For instance, the "upside-down island" (Bucuranuka island) and the "punishment island" (Akampene island).

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

 

DAY 18: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo, check into your lodging, and eat lunch before we start the evening horseback riding adventure in the bush, where you can get up close and personal with zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife.

 

Following the activity, head back to the hotel for dinner and the night.

DAY 19: EXPLORE LAKE MBURO BATIONAL PARK

Following our early breakfast, we will go on a morning game drive where we may view zebras, Rothschild's giraffes, impalas, warthogs, bushbucks, and a variety of birds, including raptors, barbets, weavers, and bee eaters. As we get ready for an evening nature walk in the wild for a close-up look at animals like zebras and giraffes, after the activity we head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

DAY: 20 TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE EQUATOR EXPERIENCE

After our early morning breakfast we will check out of the accommodation and embark on our journey to Entebbe via the equator with lunch break after the equator experience on arrival at the hotel we shall have a relaxed evening at our accommodation in mabamba as we prepare for the next day’s shoebill excursion

 

DAY: 21 SHOEBILL EXCURSION AND DEPATURE IN THE EVENNING

We will be picked up from our lodgings to start our journey to Mabamba after breakfast.

Take a boat to the birding site, where we will be searching for the shoebill, one of the most sought-after birds in Uganda. There are many different species of birds here that we can see, and the boat trip through the lovely marsh is also a really pleasant and peaceful experience.
